Learning Labs
Rather than classes with a lesson plan and set end times, learning labs offer students content area experts and open ended opportunities for inquiry.
Reading Lab
Our Reading Lab is led by Holly Hightchew, owner of Lighthouse to Literacy.
During Reading Lab, students will be immersed in the love of reading. Each student will have opportunities to grow alongside their parent or with an instructional assistant. Topics range from the science of reading, to living literature as well as provide mentoring to instructors (parents/teachers) on best practice in literacy.
Farm Lab
Farm lab is a day of experiential learning at an educational farm, led by Meesa Burns.
Everything from botany to homesteading skills will be offered.
Math Lab
Math Lab explores hands on games and experiments utilizing math topics from numeracy to Fibonacci and Euclid. Math Lab will be led by Professor Cox with guest speakers from a variety of math fields such as engineering, budgeting and statistics. This lab is designed for all level of learners, including parents!
Worship Arts
Worship Arts is led by Wendy Achenbach of Reflect Worship Collective. Students will have opportunities to explore dance, music, flags and other ways to express themselves through worship.

Grace Academy is an Ohio Department of Education approved Autism and Jon Peterson scholarship provider. We also accept some insurances and have a sliding scale private pay option.
